Euchre Night Fall Smackdowno

Thursday night Euchre returns. Thursday night is also $6 for a 20oz draught beer.

YOU PLAY AND WIN AS AN INDIVIDUAL. MEET NEW PEOPLE, DRINK GREAT BEER AND HAVE A GOOD TIME.

What's the dealio?

Registration: Players register individually for the tournament. Remember to set aside the dates you want to play during the tournament. Tournament begins October 12, 2023 and a winner is declared on the final evening of Euchre November 30, 2023. All available dates to play have been posted for reservation and seating is limited to 24 players each Thursday.

There are only 24 seats available each Thursday, so sign up now for the nights you would like to play! It is $8 per person to play each Thursday including a 591 mL ( that's 20 oz  ) draught beer and a seat at the card table.

This is a 19+ event.

We will also be spinning vinyl during the evening. Andy will bring some of his wax but you are encouraged to bring yours. Every album gets a side played without interruption. After which the crowd makes a collective decision to flip or pass.

The minutiae

The Euchre tournament starts at 6 pm and ends at 8:30 pm.

 20 minute games in a round robin style tournament.

At the end of each game each player's points are submitted to the tournament organizer (TO). Partners rotate, round-robin after each 10-point round, limited to 20 minutes. Scores will be taken at the 20 min mark, regardless of if a "winner" has been determined. Players switch partners every round. This will give each player the chance to play with and against every other player throughout the rounds.

After all the games have been played the individual with the most points at the end of the evening receives a prize as well as the runner up.

Individual points are cumulative and are recorded each week. Players will be ranked over the 8 week fall tournament on our Euchre Leaderboard which will be posted during gameplay every Thursday. The last day of the tournament will be November 30, 2023.

For individuals who do not drink beer a $6 credit can be applied to alternative beverages or food purchases.
