Description: Yes surprise! This beer is actually from Common Good Beer Company but we thought we would keep you guessing :). Sometimes life gets pretty complex, pretty intricate and you have to use your skill to navigate. This beer calendar is daedal and one of those things in life for Nita. We thank good folks like the ones at Common Good that are always willing to help.
This is Common Good's second collaboration with Scarborough home brewer David Chang-Sang of Chang-Sang Estates Brewery. They decided to visit the roots of the IPA, brewing a traditional British India Pale Ale with crystal malts and East Kent Golding hops. Though the style was originally intended to last the long journey from England to India in the late 1700’s, we’re sure this one won’t last long in the fridge.
Floral, citrus forward aromatics lead into toffee, marmalade and toasted bread crust. Hints of orange peel, wood and caramel round out the finish, with a balancing bitterness.
Ingredients – Water, Malted barley, Hops, Yeast
