Description: Jeanne d’Arc, or Joan of Arc, is considered a heroine of France and was a feisty and clever military strategist. Known by her nickname, "the Maid of Orléans" (La Pucelle d'Orléans), she was certainly a strong woman ahead of her time and is well deserving of the namesake boulevard that runs through the Stray Dog community. Stray Dog has dedicated this beer to honour their Orléans roots and to strong women everywhere. Jeanne d'Ark is a creamy and delicious oatmeal stout with pronounced chocolate and coffee on the nose, a dense tan head, slight bitterness on the tongue followed by a smooth finish. Battle the evening chill with a glass of this saintly beverage.
