Description: When we hear “stout,” we think “dark”—So what’s the deal with White Stout? A White Stout has the roasty flavours of a traditional stout without using dark grains. It’s a challenge that we attempted. Our White Stout is predominately a blonde exhibiting traditional “stout” flavor coffee with a creamy. To include the roasty coffee flavour we added cold brew coffee from our friends at Ottawa Valley Coffee in Renfrew. To make our White Stout a decadent treat for the holiday we also added toasted coconut during aging. This was Andy’s first go at crafting a White Stout. He would be happy to hear your feedback.
