Description:  This American Style Pale Ale is a play on IPA coming out of San Francisco. With classic west coast characteristics of citrus, pine and grapefruit. Balanced malty characters with a moderate resiny, dank bitterness.

Some notes about American Pale Ales:  West coast ales are unforgivingly hoppy and bitter, some attributing this style to being an acquired taste. Hops are added after the boil when the beer is still hot, which is where the bitter flavors come in.  This beer is classified as a Pale Ale rather than an IPA as the ABV is lower than most West Coast IPAs.  You have lots of beers to drink this month ... that's probably a good thing :).

Serving Glass:  Tulip Glass

Best Serving Temperature:  7 to 10 ° C

Food Pairings:  Try to pair food with similar citrus accents in the beer - Mexican food with lime, burgers with lime mayonnaise, roast herbed chicken with citrus aioli, steak with some spice
