Description: Spearhead's tip of the hat to a traditional Oktoberfest beer. The style originated in Munich, Germany. It was first brewed for the Oktoberfest celebration, which began in 1810 to commemorate the marriage of Crown Prince Ludwig (later King Ludwig I) to Princess Therese of Saxe-Hildburghausen. The style has evolved over time, from the original darker Märzen to the golden, more drinkable lager we know today.
