Description: A dark beer first brewed by Benedictine Monks in the 12th century, and later refined by the introduction of lager yeast and kilned malts, the Munich Dunkel is generally accepted as Der Konig - or The King of dark lagers. Our version pours deep brown with hues of garnet red and delivers a Wagner - like symphony of flavours including chocolate, toffee, port, toasted bread and buckwheat honey with a crisp finish. Long live Der Konig!
