From January 24, 2017 to February 4, 2017 at 3PM, enter the contest through Facebook, Twitter, Instagram using #nitabirthday or though our retail shop. Here's how you enter:
Step 1
- Facebook: On facebook, post to our facebook page your favourite Nita beer, how you discovered Nita Beer, your best Nita Beer pic and why, your favourite place to enjoy Nita Beer OR
- Twitter: On Twitter, write a haiku that includes the words “Nita” and “Beer” OR
- Instagram: On Instagram, upload a video of Nita Beer in action OR
- Retail Shop: Bring an unperishable food item for the Ottawa Food Bank and get your name logged into our POS to remember you.
Step 2
Join us for our birthday on February 4 before 3PM. Bring your proof of entry and exchange for a ballot for the draw that will be held at 3:30PM. You don’t need to be present for the draw, just show up sometime for the party before 3:30PM.

The #nitabirthday contest is hosted by Nita Beer Company("Sponsor”). This contest is governed by these official rules (“Official Rules”). By participating in the contest, each entrant agrees to abide by these Official Rules, including all eligibility requirements, and understands that the results of the contest, as determined by Sponsor and its agents, are final in all respects. The contest is subject to all federal, provincial and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited by law.
This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. Any questions, comments or complaints regarding the promotion will be directed to Sponsor.
ELIGIBILITY
The Contest is open to residents of Ontario where not prohibited by law, who are nineteen (19) years of age or older at the time of entry who have a valid twitter, instagram or facebook account OR have visited the Nita Beer location with a non-perishable food item. Sponsor has the right to verify the eligibility of each entrant.
CONTEST PERIOD
The contest begins at January 24, 2017 Noon EST and ends at February 4, 2017 3PM EST. (“Contest Period”). All entries (submissions) must be received on or before the time stated during that submission period. Sponsor reserves the right to extend or shorten the contest at their sole discretion.
HOW TO ENTER
You can enter the Sweepstakes through the Sponsor Facebook Page or by Twitter or by Instagram. Entrants must enter according to one of the methods described above. After submitting the required information, the entrant will receive one (1) entry into the drawing at the Nita Beer birthday party on February 4 between noon and 3PM. You may enter as many times as you wish.
WINNER SELECTION
All ballots submitted during the Nita Beer birthday party on February 4 before 3PM will be gathered and a winner will be chosen at random.
The winners will be announced on or about February 4, 2017 on or about 3:30 PM EST. Winners will be contacted in store or through email. Winners must pick up their prize at Nita Beer Company at 190 Colonnade Rd, Unit 17, Ottawa, ON during regular business hours before February 11, 2017. After these dates, the prize is forfeited.
PRIZES:
Prize: Each winner will receive one (1) of several prizes. Chance of winning depends on number of entries. Prizes include:
- One of 4 silver Nita growlers
- One of 5 gift certificates from Nita Beer licensee partners
- One of 5 custom label Nita Beer six packs
